There is something about sitting on a ridgetop glassing acrossed the tundra looking for the faint glow of hair reflecting off of a bears hide and, once found, contemplating how you are going to move within range of this giant predator.  Brown bear hunting in alaska is an incredible experience.  These bears range from 7.5 ft to 9+ ft and  this is offered in the spring and fall.  Whether you are snowmobiling, floating the river or hunting out of a spike camp accessed by supercub, it is an adventure of a lifetime with high success rates.
