I have spent an incredible amount of time in Alaska hunting moose, grizzly and black bear with this outfitter. This area has a healthy supply of trophy moose and bear. The outfit is in remote western alaska and only accessed by plane. 10 day hunts are offered by floating the river or hunting out of a spike camp by a supercub. This area consistently produces giant bulls and amazing memories.

OUTFITTER 003

This area has a very healthy population of Moose. You typically hunt bulls in the 40-50 inch class, although larger bulls are possible. This is a fun hunt that takes place during the last two weeks of September and the first two weeks of October, while the moose are rutting. At this time of year they can be called into very close range. Rutting bull Moose are notorious for getting so love-sick that they can’t see straight.

Moose/Trophy Black Bear Combo

While Moose hunting, you’ll see a lot of bears. All of our Moose hunts include one Black Bear. They have world class Black Bear hunting in this area. Getting a Canadian Moose and a huge Coastal Black Bear for this price is a steal. This is a 7 day hunt.
